okay. too 'jammy country' ?
I don't listen to Keller much, but I had a show of his from 2000 that had a lot of cool looping. I tried this one via the in-details page 64k flash player. it sounds great, even though it is the 64k stream, and it is a good quality recording. Just wasn't my type of music I guess. too 'jammy' ? ... / bluegrass? sounds like a steel guitar and there isn't the looping that I liked before. Cool 'country' / 'bluegrass' versions of covers that we know and love. interesting show. fun stuff.

Awesome show
This show has been VERY addictive!! I've streamed it probably a dozen times. Keller with the Keels is DISCUSTING! I was fortuniate enough to see Keller w/The Keels at MR. Smalls in Pittsburgh on 3-29-06 and was blown away. I've seen Keller a handfull of times..and this show was by far the best. I'm hoping that show makes its way to ARCHIVE.

Sweet set
This is an amazing set...Screw the rules I would have danced a hole in the rules. It is a crime against nature to ban somoen from dancing to jams that tight. Also I'm pretty sure that New Horizions is a Yonder Mountain Song if any one cares

Keller with the Keels
Why is no one mentioning Larry and Jenny Keel playing with Keller at this show? They just released "Grass" together. I love Keller but Larry Keel Is BAD ASS! Can play with anybody, anywhere, anytime, anyplace. Check out the songs Connie Chung, Culpepper Woodchuck and Whirly Pig.

Well...
I mean, the show was obviously great, but isn't standing around and dancing part of a Keller show? The atmosphere seemed really conservative/oppressive, like everyone wanted to get up and move, but you couldn't. I dunno. It was the first time I had gone to the Birchmere, and though it was a great venue in general, I'd rather see a show like Keller's someplace a little different.

fun night; great energy
Despite the "no dancing" rule, we had a fun night. Thanks for taping this and sharing it with the rest of us, James. Can't wait to hear it.

BEST SHOW!
This was by far one of the best Keller show ive seen. It was so much fun and i would return to the Birchmere anytime. I loved it.
GET THIS SHOW...YOU WONT REGRET IT!
3 quick setlist corrections:
"Let's Rock" is called "Good evening Ladies and Gentlemen" which is a Presidents of the U.S.A. cover
"I've Seen All My Nightmares Before" is called "Stunt Double" which is a Mother Hips cover
and
"Outta Sight" is called "Local" which is a Keller original.
thanks so much for sharing this. :)
